I am a public leadership student, investigative writer, and grassroots organizer based in DeForest, Wisconsin. My work uses public records, oral history, narrative nonfiction, and community engagement to make local power visible.

In 2025 and 2026, I helped document and organize around the proposed QTS hyperscale data-center campus near DeForest and Vienna, Wisconsin. What began as a fight over a proposed 1,600-acre industrial development became a larger story about land, water, public trust, corporate influence, and the power of ordinary people to protect the places they call home.

Through my WRIT 495 internship with No Data Center DeForest, I built a working historical archive, conducted oral-history interviews, analyzed public records, wrote narrative nonfiction profiles, and developed materials for a future book-length project, Ripe for the Taking.
